You are never going to find a place like Baba Boudan's.

I love that they are not a traditional coffee joint and that they run it the way they like it. No frills. No thrills. No nonsense. Good coffee. Take it or leave it.

They roast their own coffee beans, only take cash, serve breakfast and homemade pastries. So far, everyone I have taken there takes their first sip followed by big wide eyes by the surprise of how good the coffee is.

Don't let this pink tiny unassuming building stop you from trying it out. Warning: You may be ruining yourself by stopping in because you'll never see coffee at your usual coffee shop the same again.

Baba Boudan's is a secret jewel of Northwest Arkansas. My fiancée and I love this place. I'm not a coffee drinker (I know it's crazy) but they have a great selection of Hot Teas.

The atmosphere of this place is GREAT!! You can watch Stan in the kitchen area preparing the coffee. They have a large selection of eccentric coffee tins and mugs along the wall and they have bags of coffee beans along the wall. This is not your Starbucks I and I love it because of that.

They have a small selection of food, the biscuits and sausage Gravy are awesome and I can't wait to try the breakfast burrito.

They only accept cash but they do have an ATM machine beside the register and if you're have to use the ATM machine you get one of the in house baked cookies.

Best. Coffee. Ever. This is my new favorite spot. I am super picky about coffee and this is seriously probably the best I've had. Staff is super friendly and fast. And I love being able to support small local businesses. Definitely my new coffee stop!

Awesome coffee! And very friendly/informative owner. Can't believe I've been living in Fayetteville for 6 years now & had yet to try Baba Boudan's! Definitely a new favorite coffee in NWA. Their Italian style frappe with coffee flavored ice cream is amazing. As well as their yummy mocha & almond lattes!

After coming here since about 2004, I think I'm finally over Baba's.  I used to come in and get drip coffee or iced Americanos and I've even had one of their mugs for over 10 years!  I was in NWA a few months ago and decided to show my out of town friend this awesome local spot.  Well, that's where things went bad.  She ordered a latte and I got an iced americano.  They came right out, after some light chit chat, and then I started looking for creamer.  The owner just stood there and watched.  I finally asked for half/half, and he suspiciously told me i'd have to ask for it if I wanted any.  So I did.  He asked me "how much do you want?" And so I said enough to make it turn a nice caramel color, but the exact amount I can't say.  He refused to let me pour it myself...
He said people use too much creamer and that he was going to start charging extra if people kept abusing it...and he no longer let people pour it for theirself.
My friend and I thought this was very strange, nevertheless I told him to just "pour a lot in there, and charge me whatever you think is fair".  He poured what I would consider a lite amount, but it had already gotten sort of weird and tense in there so I just said fine and asked how much money he wanted.  I can't remember if it was a dollar or 70 cents or how much I gave him, but the amount to me is not important.  My friend and I threw the coffees in the trash outside and drove to Onyx.  I'll happily pay extra to avoid the bad vibes of boudans.  It basically bummed us out for the rest of the day, and I was so sad because I had talked the place up so highly and wanted my friend to like it too.
3 generous stars for the good memories, bye bye baba...
